From March 27 to 28, Prof. Roberto C. Yap, President of Ateneo De Manila University, Dr. Aristotle Dy, President of Xavier School, and Dr. Ellen H. Palanca, Confucius Institute Foreign Director, visited Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), and attended “SYSU-ADMU Confucius Institute Board Meeting 2022”.

Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of Queensland Deborah Terry AO Visited SYSU
On March 29, a delegation from the University of Queensland (UQ) visited Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). Members of the delegation included Professor Deborah Terry AO, the Vice-Chancellor and President, and Mr. Rongyu Li, Deputy Vice-Chancellor.SYSU President Gao Song met with the guests in the VIP room of Zhongshan Building on Guangzhou South Campus.

ASEAN Secretary-General Kao Kim Hourn visited Sun Yat-sen University
On March 25, Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), visited Sun Yat-sen University and gave a lecture on "Cooperation and Development under ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership" to students and faculty members.

President Gao Song Addresses in the China-UK University Presidents' Forum
On July 1st, the Opening Ceremony of the 3rd Annual Conference of the Association of British Chinese Professors (ABCP) & China-UK University Presidents' Forum was held. President Gao Song attended the Forum via video and delivered a keynote speech titled “Strengthening China-UK Cooperation and Promoting Innovation-driven Development”.
